The Workshop is designed to give participants advice on effective reference writing in accordance with recent changes to labour and Data Protection Act legislation, for the benefit of the organisation and our customers.

During the course, the following areas will be covered:

a. Who can/cannot furnish references.

b. Data protection (Codes of practice) implications.

c. The scope of references.

d. What to include and what not.

e. Oral references.

f. An overview of German references and coded comments.

This workshop is interactive.

Who should attend?

Those GLSU staff and Line Managers with a responsibility for the control and production of references.
