Unit Civil Labour Clerks

Course Objectives :

To provide an insight into the terms and conditions of employment in respect of locally employed civilians, including pay reporting responsibilities.

During the course, the following areas will be covered:

a. The recruitment process.

b. General terms and conditions.

c. Types of leave.

d. Handling and monitoring sickness and absence.

e. Discipline.

f. Pay Procedures and Allowances.

g. Induction and Appraisals.

 

Who should attend?

Those employed within units with specific responsibility for the processing of LEC Pay related documentation, recording and handling leave and absence and dealing with day to day enquiries from employees regarding their terms and conditions of employment. It is also a useful course for all LEC who wish to enhance their knowledge of the conditions of employment under which they are contracted.
