e. Job descriptions.
f. The interview process, to include:
(1) Short listing of candidates.
(2) Structure of the interview.
(3) Interview techniques.
(4) Methods of assessment.
(5) The selection process.
(6) Rejecting candidates.
g. Discrimination/Equal opportunities in recruiting.
h. Security vetting procedures.
i. The impact of the data protection code on recruitment and selection.

Who should attend?
1. GLSU staff involved in employment interviewing, new GLSU recruitment staff or those nominated as “stand-in” recruiters in GLSU main offices and outstations.
2. Civil Labour clerks in Cat “B” units.
3. Other GLSU staff as required.
