Course Objectives :
The course is designed to outline the relevant Equality and Diversity legislation. To describe MOD/BFG policy and explain the importance of Equality and Diversity and how it is to be applied in the workplace. To demonstrate the required action of a manager in implementing Equality and Diversity in the workplace .

During the course, the following areas will be covered:
- Describe the rights of the employee and the responsibilities of management.
- Overview of UK legislation dealing with Anti Discrimination.
- Overview of German legislation the Allgemeines-Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG).
- The Human Rights Act.
- Dealing with complaints.

Who should attend?
This workshop is designed for both GLSU staff or any Line Manager or Civil Labour Clerk who would require a better understanding of Equality and Diversity legislation and how to tackle solutions in the workplace.
